Douglas Wignall is the sole principal of the practice and has thirty years' experience in the hospitality industry including executive experience with ITT Sheraton (now known as Starwood Hotels and Resorts) before setting up his own practice in 1984. Because of his extensive experience in the hospitality industry, clients have frequently sought Douglas's advice on commercial issues arising from the negotiation of hotel management agreements as well as purely legal issues. Douglas has many contacts in the hospitality industry, both on the consulting side as well as the operational side.

The practice has been involved in many hotel and resort projects in the UK, Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean. Our clients vary from individual entrepreneurs, private equity companies, major international development companies and governments. We also act for several London hotels, advising them on legal issues arising from operational matters.

As Douglas Wignall is the sole principal of the practice, all work and services on behalf of clients will be carried out by him and him alone and will not be delegated to any other person.
